Every electric winch, watermaker high-pressure pump and 16-inch MFD eventually becomes a battery conversation. The old wholesale desk sold Victron, Mastervolt, Intervolt converters and Federal batteries because the electronics sale would otherwise fail on a tired flooded bank. This hub is that conversation, written for Australian ambient heat, trailer-boat dual batteries and liveaboard inverters.

Read Victron marine power systems in Australia for architecture, then lithium versus AGM marine batteries before anyone quotes a drop-in LiFePO4. Liveaboards should use inverter sizing. If the boat lives on a trailer and a 12-volt cranking battery, start with dual-battery systems for trailer boats.

Power is the quiet constraint behind watermakers and marine electronics. A 200-litre-an-hour desalinator is not a plumbing upgrade if the alternator and house bank cannot support the motor.
