About AM Wholesale

This is an editorial site about Australian marine wholesale — not a catalogue and not a booking desk. It keeps faith with the old amwholesale.com.au beat: the kit that leaves Coomera yards and ends up on sports cruisers, liveaboards and the occasional super yacht.

What the old site actually was

Archived copies of Australian Marine Wholesale show a Gold Coast distributor at The Boat Works, Unit 2 Building J, 1 Boat Works Drive, Coomera. The showroom sold and specified Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno, Simrad, Victron, Lumitec, Aqualuma, Blue Water desalination, Pacific Light watermakers, Iris Innovations cameras, Icom radios and a long tail of allied brands. Staff talked about new-build fit-outs, navigation refits, and installations from trailer boats to 120-foot motor yachts.

That shopfront is not what you are reading. Product stock, phone specials and reseller maps go stale. The specification questions do not: which chartplotter class a 36-foot flybridge actually needs, whether a dome radar is enough for Moreton Bay, how a watermaker behaves in tropical Queensland water, or what AMSA expects of an EPIRB.

Who it is written for

Australian skippers planning a refit. Electricians and electronics techs on the east-coast yard circuit. Chandlery buyers and reseller desks that still think in wholesale cartons rather than weekend specials. We write in Australian English, quote Australian regulators, and convert US-gallon watermaker ratings into litres because that is how the trade here works.

Independence

Brand names appear because they are the ones the original wholesale desk actually moved, and because they still dominate Australian search. A mention is not an endorsement and not a dealer appointment. Paid or guest placements are labelled and carry rel="sponsored" on the public web. Read the editorial standards, the write-for-us brief, and the privacy policy before you pitch.

Talk to the desk

Corrections, yard notes and pitches go through the contact form. Image licences used on this site are listed on the credits page. The complete reported set lives in the guide index.
